"This is the biggest decision that anyone can make in their life, being a part of that experience and making it enjoyable is one of the reasons I love my job. Kendal started her real estate career in Property Management as a leasing consultant and quickly climbed the corporate ladder to become a Property Manager. She spent 8+ years managing the property staff, overseeing tenants needs and day to day operations as well as creating a strong sense of community for her residents. I loved being a part of all the transactions, getting to know the clients and marketing the properties . I quickly realized this was something I really enjoyed and became a licensed agent within a year. I met with The Hogan Group shortly after and decided to hang my license."
Kendal was born and raised in Richmond, graduated from Ferrum College with her Business Administration degree. She resides in Henrico with her husband, daughter (Madilynn) and a very curious coonhound (Gauge). Whether you are buying or selling, Meredith believes that taking a client through the process is very personal, and requires utmost care and attention. Seeing the journey through their eyes and what their vision is for the transition is one of her greatest strengths. Clients appreciate the well-rounded education they receive from her, the in-depth showings (where she’ll even climb into a crawlspace for them!), and the thoughtful gestures that make her truly special.
Meredith grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia around horses, with acreage and other features of more rural and suburban areas. “My specialty is becoming the expert in the area where my clients need me. I sold clients’ horse farms, to then renovate a suburban bungalow for a downsize, or taken clients who live in tight quarters and found them a place to roam on. Whether it is rental property liquidation and custom-built new construction; each transaction brings something new and different to the table.”
Being a professional interior designer laid the groundwork for adding residential sales to her business in 2013 in Richmond, Virginia. Soon after graduating from VCU with degrees in both French and Interior Design, Meredith started her own interior design company and was so successful, she was elected the youngest president of the Virginia Chapter for the American Society of Interior Designers. This role required her taking on many national leadership positions for students all over the country, and inspired her passion for real estate.
Meredith is an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), Certified Interior Designer (CID), and a professional member of both the National Association of Realtors and American Society of Interior Designers.
In her free time, Meredith volunteers within her church and her children’s schools. She speaks French fluently, and is an avid exercise enthusiast with a state powerlifting title!

After working for a large brokerage in Richmond and being involved in real estate for many years - from acting as a general contractor while my personal home was being built, to owning investment properties - I am excited to be with The Hogan Group where our reach to help people has no boundaries. She enjoys helping her clients understand their real estate transaction so that they can be confident in the process and trust that she's working hard behind the scenes to get the best deal possible. She has experienced the reality of relocating and buying a home in a completely unfamiliar town, but she also experienced the reality of selling that home that you put so much love into in order to buy (build) the next house of your dreams. She understands the fear of the unknown, and is excited to help you with what you need!
In her free time, she and her husband raise chickens (who have more attitude than Kanye) and 2 dogs who prefer Christmas sweaters and bow ties over leashes and collars.

I began my real estate journey as an investor over 10 years ago. At the time I was a full time Paramedic, as well as a volunteer. After retiring from emergency medicine due an injury, I used the experience I had gained through investing to guide others on their journey to home ownership. I am committed to helping my clients achieve their dreams and financial goals through real estate, and I do this by building strong and lifelong relationships with them, providing individualized solutions that fit their goals and needs, and guiding them through the process with integrity and transparency.
I grew up outside of Richmond in Tappahannock, Virginia. Through spending time with family and being close to the area my whole life, I am familiar with the city. My love for Richmond was further cemented through my time at Virginia Commonwealth University where I received a bachelor's degree in Business Communications in 2019. Throughout college I worked retail. Recently, I realized retail management was not my passion and decided I wanted to help others in a more personal manner. This led me to pursue real estate to help people find their dream homes and change their lives. My goal is to help you reach your goal of homeownership. I am excited to help with your property needs in or around Richmond!
